SIGHTSEEING IN THE SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The museums in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco are free to the public on the first Wednesdays of each month, so some of you may want to tour the De Young Museum, the Asian Art Museum, the Steinhardt Aquarium, the Morrison Planetarium, the Japanese Teahouse and Garden, and the Strybing Arboretum, or take a rowboat around Stow Lake. San Franciso has many attractions that are well worth visiting.

No group activities are planned. We have provided links here to two reputable sightseeing companies. There are many tour offerings, and you should be able to find something of interest for half- and full-day time periods. Please ask the Durant Hotel staff for assistance in making reservations and arranging transportation to pickup points.
