Welcome to the Econometrics Software Laboratory Archive
at the University of California, Berkeley.
We hope that ELSA will facilitate the interchange of
computational algorithms that have economic
applications. In addition to serving as a central
location for experimental software, we want to
work with developers of algorithms, at Berkeley and
elsewhere, to produce standards for documentation
and testing that will facilitate the exchange of new
methodologies and solutions to complex computational
problems. Authors of software that have potential
applicability in economics are encouraged to submit
algorithms that conform to our documentation and
testing paradigm.
Contributors to the initial implementation of ELSA
include Paul Ruud, Daniel McFadden, Ofer Licht,
Grace Katagiri, Michelle Mains, David Revelt, Jeff Ely,
Harish Chand, Chris Downing, Sam Quigley, and Sean Ennis.
