We also maintain some permanently mounted databases on CD ROM, and share data with the UC DATA/LIBRARY CENSUS CD ROM project and the Haas School of Business.
CPS is a monthly survey of about 50,000 households conducted by the Bureau of the Census for the Bureau of Labor Statistics. It has been conducted for more than fifty years. CPS is the primary source of information on the labor force characteristics of the U.S. population. Information includes employment, unemployment, earnings, hours of work, and other indicators. They are available by a variety of demographic characteristics, including age, sex, race, marital status, and education, as well as by occupation, industry, and class of worker.
If you have a CD ROM that you would like to have mounted, we will be happy to provide that service to you.
