Description: GAUSS programs and LaTeX scripts for formatting output that were used in a computer lab presented at the 1998 NSF Symposium on Nonlinear Time Series. Topics covered include Bayesian model averaging, threshold models, and impulse response functions for nonlinear models.

Platforms: Programs are written in the Gauss programming language (Aptech Systems, Inc. (206) 432-7855 sales@aptech.com). Gauss runs on Intel and SPARC PCs and workstations running DOS/Windows and supported versions of Unix (e.g., Sun Solaris).

Support: Limited. Please contact the author with questions or suggestions at simon.potter@ny.frb.org.

The source code as written is for Unix GAUSS. The programs and scripts for producing latex tables from gauss output were run without errors on a Sun Ultra 1 workstation with Solaris 2.5.1 and Unix GAUSS ver. 3.2.31.
